TOURNAMENT
Bowls Taradale is holding the "CLASSIC ALE
TOURNAMENT" this coming Sunday, May 20th.
Hawkes Bay Independent Breweries is sponsoring the
event. |

UPDATE -
March – April 2012.
Dear Members
Apart from Fridays the club patronage has been low
of late. The life line of your club is member
activity and you are all encouraged to use the
facilities more often. Please do invite and sign in
your friends and family when you make your club the
first choice of preference. Though your Club is
trading within its means, your General Committee
will need to look seriously at our trading hours to
ensure all expense are kept to a minimum. Your Club
is a business and without good numbers, then the
hours and services will be reviewed on an ongoing
basis.

 FOOD:
Effective 1st May,
a new all bistro a-la-carte style menu will be
introduced. This menu will be available to dine-in
(the restaurant) or club lounge as occurs now. Gone
will be the Saturday smorgasbord, except by
arrangement for functions, and the set-menu. In
their place will be an extensive bistro a-la-carte
menu with new incentives to encourage members to
dine in the restaurant, like ‘free’ garlic bread in
May; plus Members will also earn points.
The menu will be released shortly and
displayed on notice boards and the web site, copies
can be taken home.
Hours are unchanged from present i.e. 2.30pm Tuesday
to Friday, 11.30am Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday’s smorgasbord has been
suspended and the new bistro menu is being trialed.

TAB NEW SELF-SERVICE TERMINAL
The TAB’s roll-out of the new state-of-art Self Service Terminals
has reached the Taradale Club and shortly will be installed
along with four 55” TV’s. The TAB area will undergo a modern look
makeover and become much more user friendly. |

Our ATM network now accepts ASB cards.
Your orange ATM can now accept cards from: ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Kiwibank,
National Bank, Rabobank, SBS Bank, TSB & Westpac. |
